Design Process & Fees...
Magic Interior’s
compensation for design projects is flexible and tailored to the
specific client’s project type and scope.
The Design Process
|
Step 1: Interview: Time spent
to review the work to be done, clarify
and answer questions on client-designer
relationship. |
|
Step 2: Initial Consultation:
When hired, hours spent with client
before the development of the design
concept and during the execution of the
project. |
|
Step 3: Design Creation: It
begins with the planning of room layouts,
making product selections, designing
options for window treatments, bedding,
furnishings, cabinetry, built-ins, etc.
for client’s approval. Also, preparing
preliminary cost estimates. |
|
Step 4: Design Concept Initial Presentation:
Following the initial presentation, we
include two design revisions for
necessary fine tuning before the
implementation of the project begins.
Hourly fees may apply if the client
wants to substantially change the
original design plan. |
|
Step 5: Implementation /Project
management:
The project begins as does the
fine tuning of
the design ideas for a smooth and
perfect execution of the project. Great
care and time is taken
securing/negotiating with contractors,
i.e., painters, installers,
electricians, carpenters,
re-upholsterers, etc. We coordinate all
deliveries and installation.
