Marja Chapman is Magic Interiors’ Owner. Marja holds a degree in business administration and marketing and had a successful career in professional selling.  She also has a diverse and extensive background in color and wardrobe consulting. Her personal sense of style, her expertise in using color, proportion, scale and balance to assist women in making personal design choices led her to go on and study Interiors and launch a new career.

Pursuing her passion for color and continuing education, Marja recently obtained a certification for the Dewey color system. The Dewey Color System is a major breakthrough that reliably measures your color preferences.  It will make your rooms and you come alive. Marja is the first certified Dewey color system (CDCC) in the Washington DC Metro Area. She is also an associate member of the Interior Design Society (IDS)

Marja uses a creative but sensible approach to decorating. She guides her clients in discovering and embracing their own individual style.

Marja’s personal style is eclectic. She likes spaces that are design to accommodate changes. Changes keep a room alive. She prefers rooms that are a good balance of unity and variety.
